Pendref ("Top of the Village") is a family owned
traditional Welsh cottage located in the ancient and historic
village of Aberffraw on the West coast of Anglesey, North
Wales.
Aberffraw: ancient home of the Briton and Welsh kings
and an early capital of Wales, is located on the tidal estuary
of Afon Fraw. The coastal path, famous 'Church in the
Sea', views of seals and dolphins,
miles of sand dunes of special scientific interest, and an
outstanding sandy beach are all within easy reach on foot.
This quiet picturesque village also has a pub (The Crown) and
shop/post Office open 7 days a week and a local cafe and
heritage centre.
The location is an excellent base for walking and cycling.
Warning: The area is prone to noise pollution when
motor racing events occur at the nearby Trac Mon.
